My name is Jaime L. Washington, founder of 100 Women 100 Stories and the visionary of She Wouldn’t Let Me Fall: 100 stories of Faith, Forgiveness & Friendship. I am also an author, sought after book writing coach, strategist and owner of Emiaj Publishing, all brands of Emiaj Enterprises LLC.

I must admit, I am truly excited about being a vessel for such an amazing movement. I have been blessed to have accomplished many things, I have impacted and influenced many people. However, by far, this is the greatest and speaks to the heart of me. I accept the challenges, obstacles, tests and trials that will come, because I know God is in the midst. He gave me the vision and He is making the provision. I know that everyone woman has a story and they should write it. I believe that women overcome through writing.

As a little girl, I always loved to write. Writing was a way for me to express my innermost thoughts and feelings. As I grew older, writing became a way for me to ignite, inspire and influence others. In high school, I was a recipient of the National Journalism Award and had aspirations of becoming a Broadcast Journalist, while secretly desiring to one day writing a book that would change the world and to help others to do the same. The only person that I shared my desire with, was my late mother. She was my biggest supporter and cheerleader. She believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself.

While my dreams were delayed and deferred, they were never denied. Just when I thought, I had it all figured out, God showed up and showed out! This has been His plan all along. Everything that I have ever done, all the roads I have traveled, led to this destination. And boy, did I take some detours! But, here I am, still standing, and now I stand in and with women who have trials, triumphs and testimonies!

I invite you to join our book writing community and let me help you to write your story!
